About the event
Learn practical self-defense skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. This workshop is designed to help women build confidence, increase awareness, and learn simple techniques that can be used in real-world situations. No previous experience is required.
Deputy Caitlyn Herbig and Deputy John Dunlap have generously volunteered their time to lead this class. Both instructors are experienced in law enforcement defensive tactics, and Deputy Dunlap also has a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).
Throughout the workshop, they'll cover situational awareness, personal safety, and effective self-defense techniques while providing plenty of opportunities for questions.
