Step into the world of historical European martial arts and learn the fundamentals of one-handed sword fighting in a fun, beginner-friendly class with Baer Swords.
Whether you've always wanted to wield a saber or you're simply looking to try something completely different, this experience is a unique way to challenge yourself while learning authentic techniques from experienced instructors. Wednesday classes are designed with beginners in mind, and the fundamentals are reviewed every session.
During this 90-minute class, you'll be introduced to the principles of combat—the foundational concepts behind effective swordsmanship that extend beyond techniques alone. You'll gain hands-on experience using a variety of one-handed weapons while learning movement, footwork, defense, and offensive strategies in a safe, supportive environment.
