Redneck Fishing Tournament

Join Wander Woman as we head to Bath Illinois for this unique fishing experience! 

We will be joining in on 2023 Redneck Fishing Tournament focused on collecting the invasive Asian Carp species. These invasive carp species are causing issues in the Mississippi river and surrounding waters. Invasive carp are fast-growing and prolific feeders that out-compete native fish and leave a trail of environmental destruction in their wake. 

Fee includes two nights lodging, lunch Saturday, dinner Saturday, tournament fee, helmets, nets, boat, and boat captain. The Air BNB has three beds. So prepare to bunk up. Bring a cot or air mattress if you prefer not to share a bed. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit is non refundable. If you need to cancel, please be in touch no later than July 1, 2023 for a partial refund if we can also fill your spot.

Things to bring:

• Snacks
• Waterproof bag
• Eye protection
• Gloves
• Water bottle
• Towel
• Extra change of clothes
• Shower shoes
• Trash bag of some sort to put your dirty clothes into at the end of the day.
• Illinois Fishing License 

This will be a wild and messy event. For after the event on Saturday, you will want to have in your car a towel, shower supplies, shower shoes, clothes to change into. We will stick around after the tournament to grill dinner and participate in evening festivities. We will do two heats on Saturday so plan to be out all day. Itinerary of the tournament and address for the Air BNB will be provided closer to the event.
