About the event
Come and learn about pawpaw's! Â A little-known tree that is native to North America and produces an abundance of tropical tasting fruit each fall. Â Its short harvest season and even shorter shelf life means these fruits are not commercially grown or found in stores, but the creamy sweet taste is not to be missed!! Â We will be wandering along some trails and through the woods learning to identify the pawpaw, pick, and eat it before they are gone!
We will arrive/meet at the trailhead. Â Double check for water bottles, snacks, and bathroom breaks before heading out. Â We will talk about pawpaw's and their traits along the trail. Â Once we have harvested/snacked all we want we will call it a day.
