Lobstering in Maine

Join Wander Woman on our first trip to Maine for lobstering!

We will arrive Thursday to head to our quaint Bed & Breakfast to meet all of the ladies and settle in. Friday we will meet with our capatin and head out to learn all about lobstering followed by a Whale Watch & Puffin Cruise. Some of the wildlife we will be seeking are whales, Atlantic puffins, pelagic birds, ocean sunfish, seals, dolphins, sharks, and more! An exciting evening cruise with food, drinks, grill, and full bar aboard for purchase.

Saturday we will venture to Cabbage Island for a private island clam bake. Our journey to Cabbage Island begins at Pier 6 in picturesque Boothbay Harbor. Here, we will board the Bennie Alice and enjoy a narrated scenic cruise while we take in Maine's breathtaking coastline. They accept cash and check only at the booth, on the boat, and on the island - including the bar and gift shop. They do not accept credit or debit cards.

Fee includes:

• 3 nights of lodging
• Lobster charter on Friday 
• Whale and wildlife cruise Friday afternoon
• Clam bake on Cabbage Island Saturday

Fee does not include:

• Travel expenses
• Meals during the trip except the clam bake on Saturday

No licensing is required for our lobster charter.

If ladies fly into Maine at similar times, carpooling will be available to get to BoothBay Harbor and for the duration of the trip. Once registered, flights and carpooling will be discussed in more detail. Closest airport is Portland International Jetport. Which is about an hour and a half from BoothBay Harbor where we will be staying. 

Ladies will be sharing rooms and beds at the Bed & Breakfast. We will have three rooms available, one room with a queen, one room with two double beds, and one room with a king bed.

• Bring warm layers (on the water can get cold)
• Rain coat/wind breaker
• Fishing bibs (optional but would keep you dry)
• Hat with a strap
• Sunglasses
• Walking shoes
• Non slick boat shoes or tennis shoes
• Sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Binoculars
• Motion sickness remedies
• Toiletries

CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit is non-refundable. If you cannot make this event you must contact jessica@wanderwomanks.com by June 1, 2024 in order to receive a partial refund minus the deposit. After June 1, 2024 there will be no refunds issued. Check out our INFO page HERE
