About the event

Join Wander Woman as we head to the Iron District for another instructional class with The Sourdough Spot!

Sourdough bread making is an art that takes practice to learn, but sourdough focaccia is a forgiving and delicious pan bread that is easy for beginners.

In this hands-on class, we will mix and fold sourdough focaccia dough to be baked at home, as well as dimple, dress, and bake a 9x13 pan of focaccia in The Sourdough Spot's stone bread oven. Toppings will be provided, and we can create beautiful landscapes and decorations on top our breads.

You’ll learn sourdough starter care, breadmaking techniques, as well as get all of your sourdough questions answered. Enjoy complimentary charcuterie while we learn!

You'll take home one fresh focaccia to eat and one to bake at home another day, as well as a BPA-free dough bowl, bread and focaccia recipes, and your share of Bertha, The Sourdough Spot's organic starter. *You must be present at the class in order to receive the take home items.*

Class will take place during Iron District’s open hours in a private room, and you can enjoy browsing the shops and sampling the foods while you’re here!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Fee is non-refundable. Please get in touch before the event so someone on the waiting list can attend.
