About the event
Join Wander Woman for a morning stroll among the birds.
We will start the morning off in the classroom with some identification guidelines then we will head down the path to see what species we can find! Participants will be sent home with their very own bird feeder and feed samples to continue in their individual birding endeavors! This event helps participants develop education and understanding for wildlife beyond traditional game species. This event is free but you must register to ensure we have enough feeders for everyone!
Coffee, water and restrooms will be available for the duration of the events.
Please feel free to bring any other drinks or snacks necessary for your comfort.
ADA Information: This event can be adapted either fully or partially for those needing accommodations. Please reach out to the event coordinator prior to registration to see how we can help.
All that you really need is a pair comfortable walking shoes, clothes for the weather and a good attitude. We will have everything else for you!
If you already own gear that you prefer to use, there are some things that may be helpful to bring listed below. Please do NOT feel like you need to run out and buy anything!
