About the event

Join Wander Woman and Missouri Department of Conservation for a beginner canoe paddling class.

Wander Woman puts on lots of paddling events, so why not brush up on paddling strokes and safety to get you ready for our trips coming this summer!

Lakes and streams are beautiful and are a unique part of the outdoor recreation opportunities in Missouri. Gain confidence exploring out on the water as you learn basics of canoeing including paddle strokes and problem-solving tips. Meet at the W. Robert Aylward Educational Pond near the Burr Oak Woods Nature Center.
