Join Wander Woman Kansas for a four-day Arkansas adventure combining crystal mining, diamond hunting, and time on the water at beautiful Lake Ouachita.
We’ll visit two very different Arkansas mining experiences:
Friday - Wegner Crystal Mines — Mount Ida, Arkansas
Get hands-on with Arkansas quartz crystals at Wegner Crystal Mines, located just south of Mount Ida in the Ouachita Mountains. We’ll have the opportunity to dig for our own crystals and take home what we uncover.
Saturday - Crater of Diamonds State Park — Murfreesboro, Arkansas
At this unique state park, we’ll search a 37-acre diamond-bearing field where visitors have found real diamonds along with other rocks and minerals. The Crater of Diamonds is the only publicly accessible diamond-producing site in the world.
